The Sunday Stories is the brainchild of writer and self-proclaimed romantic poet, Jessica Kerendian. As a single twenty-something-year-old taking whatever unexpected path life presented her with, Jessica hit a harsh reality one day—Sundays. The saying goes, “Saturdays are for the boys, and Sundays are for lovers.” So Sunday nights remained reserved for Chinese take out, a new Netflix release, and a lover’s arms to get lost in. That is, until you become single. Jessica found that for herself and those around her who lacked a special someone often experienced the Sunday evening blues. When the bustle of the weekend died down, your friends were tucked in for the evening, and all that remained was yourself, it could get a little rough. So she created The Sunday Stories as a way to fill that void. Every Sunday at 6 pm, when that feeling starts to hit, a new piece is published. The mission is to let you know that you are not alone. That we’ve all been there. We’ve all felt the same things. We’ve all loved the same ways. We’ve all hit the same lows. So for the Sundays you find yourself without a lover, you come and find us. And we hope to become your forever Sunday lover.
